Signed by the twenty participating artists, including Salvador Dali, Alexander Calder, A. M. Cassandre, Marianne Clouzot, Paul Colin, Dunoyer de Segonzac, Valentine Hugo, and others. Approximately 15 x 11 inches. Folio. [188] pages. Issued on unbound, folded signatures, printed on Arches paper housed in printed wrappers and original glassine. This work is issued with forty full-page loose lithographic illustrations of the artwork in the book printed on Fil de Lana paper and housed in publisher's paper chemise. It is also issued with reproductions on silk of the two illustrations by Cassandre, as well as a decomposition of these two illustrations, on fourteen plates, also printed on Fil de Lana and housed in paper chemise. All housed in publisher's full terra cotta levant morocco solander box, spine lettered in gilt, and lined with blue velvet. Although the solander box is quite worn and split, the book and the illustrations inside are bright and fine.
