Bound in eighteenth-century full turquoise crushed levant morocco, covers elaborately ruled in gilt, and with gilt central anchor and dolphin devices, spine ruled, tooled, and lettered in gilt in compartments, four raised bands, gilt board edges and turn-ins, lavender coated endpapers. Spine slightly sunned and rubbed. A fine copy. With the bookplates of famed nineteenth-century book collector Sir John H. Thorold (of Syston Park, two bookplates), and Henry William Poor. Chemised in quarter turquoise levant morocco slipcase.
