Pierre Joseph Redoute (French, 1759-1840) four hand-colored botanical engravings on paper: Althea Flowers (Hibiscus Syriacus), Nymphaea Caerulea (Blue Water Lily), Rosa Alba Regalis (Rosa Blanc Royal), Rosa Centifolia Foliacea (Pink Rose). All engravings titled in plate lower right and left, signed in plate lower left. All framed. Circa 1817-1824. Provenance: The Doyle New York: After Francis Wheatley, Doyle at Home Annual End of Summer Sale, August 6, 2014, lot # 83. Please refer to the original paper labels on the front and back.
