oviform with two gilt rocaille-moulded foliate handles, with a frill rim, with a full-length portrait of a brunette maiden seated in the woodlands, attended by two putti, bearing a bowl and offering flowers, with three putti on the reverse with a garland of roses among the clouds, atop a gilt rocaille-moulded base, marked with factory mark in blue underglaze, impressed numerals A/42 in paste, signed Wagner lower right of scene; overall height: 48 cm (18 7/8 in.)

CONDITION
The vase appears in good condition. Rubbing to the gilt detailing on the rim, handles and feet. Inspection under UV shows minor overpainting to one are of the frilled rim.
