FIRST HALF OF 20TH CENTURY ACKERMANN & FRITZE PORCELAIN VASES
of canteen form, with handles formed from gilt daisies, each featuring different garden scenes, one titled Bestrafter Ubermut, and the other Wer Ist's, each with playful cupid and maidens, each scene framed by a laurel vine, with light purple and deep maroon detailing with gilt accents, each with a gilt rose, factory mark in blue overglaze, each with numerals 34265, and each titled in iron-red overglaze, one impressed numeral 5057 19 in paste all under base; height: 27 cm (10 5/8 in.), diameter of body: 15 cm (5 7/8 in.)
CONDITION
The pair appears in good condition. Light surface dust, but no apparent issues visible to the naked eye. Inspection under UV shows no apparent sign of restoration.
