Chinese 18th Century Bamboo Shoot and Qilong detailed with tiny teeth and eyes, in crackle glaze white Porcelain forming a Water Jar and dropper, the underside with 10 tiny spur marks from the kiln firing; together with an enameled porcelain double Lychee (Lizhi) on stem with leaves. Width of bamboo shoot water jar 5 1/4 inches (13.3 cm.). PROVENANCE: A Long Island, NY Estate
Condition
Light age related wear, back left leg of qilong missing, tip of bamboo shoot with 2 chips re-stuck with slight glaze loss, and glue now filling in the opening. Lychee in good condition.
