LUBA OLIFANT
Rare anthropomorphic Luba oliphant.
The female character is embedded in a wooden horn, she has the ritual scarifications, the hands holding the chest. Beautiful headdress
Delicate sculpture with a very bright patina.
The Luba are a great people in eastern DRC.
Their caryatid seats, bearing cups, chiefs' sticks, arrow holders, adzes and ancestral statues are very famous and among the most valued objects in African Art.

He's is a specialist for the Congo traditionnal Arts
Exhibition in Cultures Bruneaf Brussels in 2019
He made also an exhibition of MBANGU PENDE (sickness Pende masks) in 2017.
