Item Details

Description

Fire alarm station made by Harrington Signal Company, Moline, Illinois. This alarm box came out of the city of Chicago. Dates to the late 1930's but the cast iron pedestal that it sits atop is probably from the teens. Fire box made of some type of ally, but not cast iron. Most of the paint is worn off. Has original light on top of box. Currently missing key but believed to be complete inside. The stand is a fluted column made of cast iron and stands 57.25" tall. Add 28" to the top of light for fire box.
