Pre-Columbian, North Coast Peru, Moche, ca. 200 to 700 CE. An absolutely stunning and wearable necklace comprised of dozens of ancient 61% to 72% (equivalent to 14+ to 17+K) gold, coral, and turquoise beads. The strand is strung with mostly seed and disc-shaped beads of orange and pink coral and green turquoise. Small spherical hollow gold beads are placed at intervals to create a nice balanced piece. At the center are long gold beads with stamped stippling patterns, a tubular blue lapis bead, and a final gold bead with a turquoise tone. This wonderful ensemble of ancient beads was strung in modern times on a modern cord to be both beautiful as well as wearable and will certainly complement any outfit!
