Description
Pair of architectural renderings of a retail building in an Art Deco style. Larger one reads "A Candy Shop" and depicts store front in purple and yellow. Signed "Julian L. Cohn," a New York architect of the era. Smaller reads "Looking Aft, Looking Forward, Drawing No SK69 August 22nd, 1938." A charming authentic piece from the height of the original era that has become so iconic. A red 'F' in the lower right corner suggests that this may have been student assignment, but these drawings certainly pass the test of time.
