The artist created the piece from handmade sterling silver "Navajo Pearl" beads and finished the necklace with sterling silver cones resembling an actual flower of the squash plant running down each side. It is finished with a large 2.5" x 2.5" crescent shaped "Naja" pendant and lined with genuine 9.5mm-18mm turquoise. The necklace measures 29" in length. All of the items in this sale come directly from Tanya Tucker's Tennessee home. Tanya Denise Tucker (born October 10, 1958) is an American country music singer and songwriter who had her first hit, "Delta Dawn," in 1972 at the age of 13. Over the succeeding decades, Tucker became one of the few child performers to mature into adulthood without losing her audience, and during the course of her career, she had a Top 10 and Top 40 stream of hits. She is one of the most celebrated and gifted artists of this century with a career spanning over almost six decades.
