Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Waterside Mountain Motif Cinnabar Carved Large Brush Pot on Carved Hardwood Stand. The Cinnabar potted in large brush pot shape, sturdily in cylindrical straight body, thick potted, deep curvature, round mouth rim with flaring thick ring, raised on flat round foot base. The body carved detail of mountain landscape with sampan boat over Lishui rivers, dense trees, rocky hill, pavilion and a horseman through on the bridge. The Cinnabar is smooth to the touch and is free of cracks or damage. Deep red color gives off a waxy sheen as the light dapples across its surface.

The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six gilt script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.

Some crackle, minor scratches and fading found on the ebony lacquered surface, network of fissures or cracks in a finish lacquer from climate changes. Over all in EXCELLENT condition.
