Description
Likely English, late 19th century. Georgian style meal bin or chest with two decorative friezes, Asian style brass mask handles, decorative dovetails, and raised on lion paw feet. Apparently unmarked. Provenance: From the Estate of Aimee Lacey Champion of Fairmount, Georgia. Approx. h. 37.125", w. 32.75", d. 21.875".
Condition
Wear commensurate with age and use. Repair to center lock, previously cut. Frieze to top of Brasses replaced. Scattered wear / small loss to legs / feet. Loss to side of knee
