Chinese. Hardwood four-panel floor screen, having multiple recessed panels under glass, with characters above mixed hardstone (including lapis lazuli) birds on floral branches and fruit on a cinnabar background. Paper label to the reverse. Approx. h. 82", w. 62.25", d. 2.25" (overall).

Overall with scattered scuffing to wood on front and back. Some cracking to red and green panels. One panel missing wood cap on molding---piece is still secure in frame. Far right panel with some fogging at bottom of glass. MOP lettering at top with a few breaks---not distracting. All components appear to be intact---glass was not removed to observe condition. No apparent cracks to glass. Back with dirt and grime to corners. Slight wood loss near bottom of panel to back.
