Austrian bronze girl with shell signed Werner,Austrian Tennis award
7.5 inches tall

Davids notes: Not sure who the sculptor is, there were many Werner sculptors in Austria in 1911.The fact that a girl is holding up a shell and the award is engraved by hand along the bottom for Mixed Doubles(tennis or badminton)is not so unusual, the practice of having an award depicting the person engaged in the sport being recognized was a practice more common in the 1930s trophies and after.
