Ancient Egypt, Pre-Dynastic to Old Kingdom Period, ca. 3500 to 2181 BCE. A wonderful alabaster dish displaying a circular, flat base and thick walls that rise to a lipped rim. Skillfully hand-carved, this ancient vessel features lovely natural bands of ash grey, cream, taupe, and white hues that swirl across its silky-smooth surface, nicely complementing its elegant form. Size: 2.625" in diameter x 1.5" H (6.7 cm x 3.8 cm)
