Nehemiah Curtis "Skip" James (June 9, 1902 - October 3, 1969) was an American Delta blues singer, guitarist, pianist and songwriter.
John Smith Hurt (March 8, 1893 - November 2, 1966), better known as Mississippi John Hurt, was an American country blues singer and guitarist.
Dick Waterman (b. July 14, 1935) is an American writer, promoter and photographer who has been influential in the development and recording of the blues since the 1960s. Waterman is the only person inducted in The Blues Hall of Fame who was not either a performer or record company executive.
