David Roberts (1796-1864) Cairo Gate Lithograph, hand-colored, titled "The Gate of Metwalis, or Bab Zuweyleh" David Roberts' most famous work from "Views in the Holy Land, Syria, Idumea, Arabia, Egypt, & Nubia", was published by E. G. Moon in London between 1843 and 1849, together with an Orientalist Style Engraving in 8 ply matte frame; used condition, wear/worn, chips to frame, not examined outside of frame, oval frame measures 18 1/4" long x 15" wide
