TWENTY-SIX CHINESE EXPORT PORCELAIN SERVING PIECES
Late 18th/Early 19th Century
Two covered gravy boats with undertrays (8.5” x 6.25”, one with star hairline and line on lid, both undertrays with spray restoration), two gravy boats with undertrays (covers missing, one with foot chip), an 11” x 10” covered vegetable dish (cover not quite correct size, chip to cover), a 9.75” vegetable dish cover, and sixteen oval platters, all with blue armorial decoration and two with major re-glue. Some with spray restoration.
Lengths from 12” to 19”.
Provenance:
Property of a direct descendant of Thomas Jefferson, the contents of the Brick House at Coolidge Point, Manchester by the Sea, Massachusetts.
