Two 18th Century Silver Serving Ladles
the first a George II silver toddy ladle, mark of John Pollock, London, 1742, shaped sterling bowl with spout sides, scrolled neck, period turned wood handle, no monogram (13 1/2 in.) (repaired breaks to handle attachment of bowl, water staining to handle); the second a Continental silver gilt ladle with partially rubbed marks, likely 18th century, with pierced round bowl, and filigree floral mount, period wood turned handle (10 1/4 in.) (some minor mis-shaping to bowl, loss to foliate detail on handle).
