LOOGOOTEE POTTERY, INDIANA ATTRIBUTED STONEWARE FROG / FRIGHT MUG, Albany-slip glazed, cylindrical form featuring a molded sitting frog to interior with applied strap handle, incised "Trinity Springs" to front. John H. Folks, Loogootee Pottery, Loogootee, IN. Circa 1880. 2 1/2" H, 2 3/4" D rim.
Excellent undamaged condition. Manufacturing flaws including glaze imperfection to interior side, as made.
