Two Chinese Mandarin Court Necklaces, Chaozhu. The first court necklace consists of approximately 108 dark brown color seed beads separated by four large 'Buddha head' green Peking glass beads and a gourd-shaped 'Buddha head stupa' green glass bead, with three subsidiary strands, each strand shows coral color smaller glass beads terminating in ear drop shape beads, with a green silk cord gilt framed glass counterweight. The second court necklace consists of approximately 108 amber color translucent Peking glass beads, the three subsidiary strands of coral color glass beads and a yellow glass counterweight oval flat bead and four large 'Buddha head' translucent blue glass bead and four tear drop beads. Late 19th Century, Qing Dynasty. {Longest: 38 inches (96.52 cm) long}. Condition: The first with a broken cord. Both necklaces have age-related losses.
