Artist: Willi Baumeister (German, 1889 - 1955).
Title: "Collage mit Frau #2".
Medium: Papier colle (collage) with India ink over pencil drawing on paper.
Date: Composed 1923.
Dimensions: Overall size: 12 1/2 x 9 3/8 in. (317 x 238 mm).
Lot Note(s): Signed in pencil, lower left recto and lower center, verso; collectors ink stamps, verso. Executed on light cream wove paper. Condition: very good with no serious condition issues; slight paper waviness center left due to adhesion of collage element; scattered handling dimples; newspaper (?) fragments verso; edge toning four sides probably due to prior matting; presents very well.
