This we know because Morse numbered all their helmets in sequence and there were US Navy Mark V helmets made with those dates. The Mark V was the only helmet that routinely had a date stamped on their name tag so we use them as benchmarks. One of the assets we did receive in the Morse buyout is a mold to cast the shallow water weights. If you tell a potential buyer they are available that may help the sale. We cannot make a glass replacement window however. They are prohibitively expensive and suppliers want an order quantity that makes selling them impractical. We do sell a replacement window in Acrylic. Morse switched to Acrylic in 1948 so replacing this window with "plastic" is a correct fix.
