Description

Veteran Confederate officer’s kepi, gray wool with gold band at bottom and hat cord on front, “UCV” metallic letters surrounded by brass wreath hat pins (small holes possibly moth damage, canvas liner partially detached in places but still intact). -- "ATD" Army of Tennessee Department, "CS" Confederate Survivors badge, 2 1/4 x 2 3/4 in., pinback (missing state of Tennessee hanger and flag ribbon). Drop features a Confederate flag at center, cannon barrels, crossed sabers, and "Historical," "Social," and "Benevolent" on each side of center triangle motif. -- Southern Cross of Honor badge, cross pattee form suspended from metal bar (not engraved), 2 x 1.5 in. (some tarnish). Obverse displays Confederate flag surrounded by a wreath with arms inscribed "United Daughters [of the] Confederacy to the UCV." Reverse with motto of the Confederate states "Deo Vindice 1861-1865" surrounded by laurel wreath and arms with inscription "Southern Cross of Honor." -- UCV Nashville 1904 reunion pin with crossed sabers, 3 x 2 3/4 in. (tarnish, missing ribbon).
