Description: Peculiar & almost ghostly Portrait in the form of a larger format - 1/4 Plate Tintype. Softer focus image iwth a full central figure of a girl with only 1/2 faces appearing elsewhere. Representative of a Vernacular Photo long before the term applied. Only when tilted in light, there is very faint writing in pencil upper left corner - "Sister Luella".
