Item Details

Description

Two O/B Country landscapes in matching oval pressed brass over wooden frames, 18th century. The first with country estates with resting sheep and cow on front lawn and people walking and riding on pathway to home; the second with cottages in valley and castle on hill- ink inscription on reverse "1 mile from xxxx (illegible) - 1747 (or 1727)" . Each 14 1/4" x 11 3/4". Both probably English, with paint touchup, some tiny paint blisters, but overall good condition.
