Sheet iron silhouette running horse weathervane in original paint. The body appears to be in weathered white/gray paint with traces of black on painted mane and faint red lines across body. The original rod is hand forged iron with pointed end and was likely hammered into the roof beam. American, 19th century. The backside of vane with noticeable surface rust. Very good structural condition. 33"W x 27 1/2"H.
