Horse trapping, Mongolia or western China, 19th century. Woven in two pieces and joined in the middle, this permits the pile to slope down and away from the rider on both sides, without allowing rain and dust to penetrate into the pile. Size: 4'11'' x 2'3'' (150 x 69 cm). Weight: 4 lbs. Wool.
