Description
A YIXING ZHU SHA CLAY BAMBOO CLUSTER TEAPOT, LATE QING DYNASTY/EARLY REPUBLIC PERIOD, 1900-1949, the shaped octagonal lid with bamboo curl handle and marked verso, on a square form body and each corner clustered with two bamboo chutes, applied with an arched bamboo form handle opposite a square naturalistic bamboo stalk spout, verso a four character raised mark?and partial wax seal. Height: 4 3/4" Width: 6" Depth: 3"
Condition
The lid with a chip at one corner, minor surface wear, some dust, overall in good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
