Zamy Steynovitz Limited Edition Seriolithograph, "My Village". The print is numbered with an estate signature. This is #120 out of #750. The print is approx 9 1/2" x 7 3/8. The print is in a good, used condition that is still slightly curled up from being in a tube, along with a light crease on the top right of the print. This can be fixed with a proper framing! Please note, print does not come with weights. Zamy Steynovitz was born in Liegnitz, Poland on January 15, 1951. As a child, he won a national art prize, just before he moved to Israel in 1957. Zamy studied at the Art School, Tel Aviv, and at the Royal Academy of London and his images are reflections of his Jewish and Eastern European heritage. Some of his works suggest the magic of Chagall brought they are brought alive again in the colors and style of the present generation. His subject-matter is strongly influenced by religious folklore and stories within the Jewish tradition but his compositions also reflect his favorite themes, like Paris, flowers, angels, and circuses.
