Description
Group is comprised of four total pieces; two matching soup plates and two matching decorative serving plates, painted floral detail. Soup plates with brown painted and scalloped rims, with moulded 'basket weave' edges (8.75" diameter, 1.375" height ea.). Decorative serving plates each feature scalloped and gilt rims, edges and center to tops with moulded floral relief detail (9.75" diameter, 1.375" height). Each item with Meissen mark. Dresden, Germany circa 1770. Plates and bowls show normal wear associated with age, including; light surface scuffing from use, minor chipping to painted details, general expected flaking to bottom rims. Some chipping to rim of one dinner plate. Also with natural imperfections associated with production.
