A Chinese carved jade incense holder shaped like a lotus dating from the Ming dynasty with a wooden stand. The exterior has carved branches and insects. The interior has a central bud. The jade has a brown skin.
Dimensions are: 1 inches tall X 5 inches wide, 2.5 cm X 12.7 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in overall good condition with minuscule chipping throughout and natural variation to the stone. The stand is missing a foot.
Provenance: From a private New York City collection. Purchased from a New York City auction.
