MEISSEN (CO.) (GERMAN, ESTABLISHED 1710) PORCELAIN FEMALE GATHERING FRUIT H 7" W 2.3" Incised F34, impressed 127, enameled 11 and the crossed swords scored through. Modeled as a female, her hat tipped forward. She is holding her apron, which is filled with red, blue and green grapes. The naturalistic circular base has a gilt key design with gilt banding on top and bottom.
Condition
As viewed under UV light, no inpainting or conservation efforts fluoresce. Fingers are intact. Minor losses to perimeter of lace on apron, dress, and corset. No chips or losses to base. CP
