Sturdy, attractive condition with shiny, polished patina. Some veneer cracks and small veneer repair with overpainting on the back foot. Image of gallery label available upon request. Glass is replaced. Old nail sites on the insides of the doors; probably had gathered curtains inside the glass at one time. Leather writing surface has age and is well-tooled but replaced. Brasses are replaced. Some minor veneer repairs between the fronts of the drawers. A tight, filled age crack on one side of the lower portion of the case. Old marks, darker discolorations, minor scratches and tiny veneer chips throughout as is normal for age and with light wear from use. Image of gallery label available upon request.
