Franklin Roosevelt Signs Theodore Roosevelt's Memorial, Great Association
Theodore Roosevelt New York State Memorial Dedication Stapled Pamphlet with outer wraps. "Corner Stone Laid October 27, 1931, Building dedicated January 19, 1936". Boldly Signed in strong contrasting ink to the front of the program by "Franklin Roosevelt", "Herbert Lehman", and "F. LaGuardia". 9.5" x 10.5". A superb association with a set of three important signatures from that era in New York. At the time of the signing of this document, Franklin Roosevelt would be in the year of his landslide reelection. Near fine with uneven toning to the outer cover, with the rear cover being slightly grubby.
Fiorello Henry La Guardia was an American attorney and politician who represented New York in the House of Representatives and served as the 99th Mayor of New York City from 1934 to 1945.
Herbert Henry Lehman was a Democratic Party politician from New York. He served from 1933 until 1942 as the 45th Governor of New York and represented New York State in the U.S. Senate from 1949 until 1957
