Large Anne Packard (American, b.1933) "Brittany's House" Oil Painting on Canvas. Signed lower right "A. Packard" Dated 1984. Originally purchased directly from Anne Packard, Anne Packard Gallery. Measures approx. - 41 3/4" wide x 35 5/8" high, total with frame - 43 1/8" wide x 37 1/8" high. Anne Packard was born in 1933 in Hyde Park, New Jersey and spent her summers in Provincetown, Massachusetts where she moved in 1977, after raising five children. Her early work was painting on wood panels and weathered shingles, but mediums now include oil, monotypes and giclees. She attended Bard College, and studied with the late Phil Malicoat. Packard has traveled extensively, and locations include the Outer Cape, Ireland, Italy, Greece and Mexico. Please note - there is a slight scratch on the painting, approx. 3" long. Barely noticeable. It looks like its part of the cloud. Please see pictures.
