Description
Meissen paint decorated porcelain nodding Pagoda figure, late 19th century, attired in an open floral robe over a yellow shirt with ruffle collar, modeled seated with legs crossed, with articulated weighted head, hands and wagging tongue, the base with blue underglaze crossed swords mark along with incised "156" and impressed "92." 7” H x 6.75” W x 7” D. Provenance: Removed from a 157 East 57th Street estate.
