LIVERPOOL CREAMWARE AMERICAN MARKET TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC JUG / PITCHER, having black transfer designs, one side featuring a carousing scene including a young couple dancing to a fiddle player, other side depicting a tall-masted ship flying an American flag. Unmarked. Possibly Herculaneum Pottery, Toxteth, Liverpool, England. Late 18th/early 19th century. 7 1/8" HOA.
Nearly undamaged, having a minute flake to spout edge and very light radial hairline to shoulder.
