William IV flame mahogany bookcase in two-parts, having a shaped cornice above a plain frieze, double glazed mullioned doors with double grille lattice doors below, and rising on a plinth base. Provenance: From the Estate of Mr. Cecil S. Whitehead, Jr., Atlanta, Georgia. Approx. w. 57.5", h. 100.25", d. 14.5"
Condition
Wear to finish; veneer loss; scattered cracks to case; case is not square causing doors to not open/close correctly possibly from the the top and bottom being secured; fabric is worn.
