Description
Continental, 17th / 18th century. European carved dark wood unique snake form powder horn having geometric motif, and leather strap around seam. Provenance: Acquired from Artemis Gallery on October 25, 2018, lot 167. Accompanied by COA from Artemis. Approx. h. 9.5", w. 8".
Condition
Surface wear commensurate with age and use. Scattered small chips and nicks to wood. Separation to some areas of leather and wood. Stable crack to seam.
