Animalier bronze 'Eagle,' after Jules Moigniez, (French 1835-1894), 20th century, executed in patinated and gilded bronze, depicting an eagle with wings unfurled on the verge of launching into flight from a twisted branch, the branch terminating to a naturalistic base, having a cast signature, the whole resting on a green marble plinth with a plaque reading, 'EAGLE / By Moigniez,' rising on a square wooden pedestal, 29"h x 19.25"w x 16"d; overall with plinth and pedestal 35"h x 19.25"w x 18"d.
