Cotton 1860's/1870's small scale cheddar stars quilt, hand pieced and hand quilted on a teal green ground with multiple solid borders. It measures 72" X 78" and is hand quilted, with quilting around the piecework and in grid and rainbow designs in the background, all at 4-5 stitches to the incg. The back is white, the hand stitched binding is light brown, and the batting is of medium thickness. Of southern origin.
