Additional Information: I have purchased this piece together with many other high quality Native American pieces from an old British collection. Some of the objects have belonged to the great British collector and Native American art expert Ian West. I have got in contact with the British collector not directly but throughout intermediaries who did not want to reveal his name: he has sold his collection because needed money to pay for his illness treatment and since he was seriously ill he prefered to remain anonimous.
