**Originally Listed At $200**

South Pacific, Hawaiian Islands, ca. second half of the 20th century CE. A fine ensemble of 6 lathe-turned wooden cups used for holding soft-boiled eggs, typically as a breakfast dish. Each cup has a hemispherical basin meant for receiving the bottom end of an egg, a narrow stem, and a broad, circular foot. The woodgrain of each vessel exhibits a fine luster that shines across its caramel and mocha hues. Size of each (all are relatively similar): 1.8" W x 2.3" H (4.6 cm x 5.8 cm)
