Chinese late Ming to Qing bronze tri-pod incense burner, depicting scrolling dragon and flowers, with a foo dog finial on the open work lid, the three legs depicting the face of the beast, flanked by handles. With six character mark to underside. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Wei Yuan Hsueh and Emily Hsueh, Dallas, Texas. Owners of the former Oriental Art Shop in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Hsueh was a Chinese government official as Consul to Jamaica and Consul to Germany prior to beginning Oriental Art Shop. 14"H x 11" Dia., Circa - 16th-17th C.
