1968-69 Tommy Joe Crutcher Game Worn New York Giants Helmet. Even if Green Bay Packers collectors don't know much about the player who wore this helmet, they most likely still remember the name "Tommy Joe Crutcher," of the Lombardi era. Offered here is the formidable linebacker's New York Giants shell that he used during the late 1960's in the "Big Apple." A notable player, but an even more significant helmet style among collectors, this helmet was reconditioned from the Giants' farm team, Westchester Bulls, as can be determined from the outline of the "WB" on each side. Its original "NY" logos have since been removed, but the unmistakable numeral font "56" is thankfully still present on the front. Its two-bar facemask is not original, while one of the original jaw pads still remains. A beautiful piece of NFL history, which will soon find its way to the large Giants collector base.
