Here is an original oil of two young girls by artist Esther Seymour Stevenson. Framed original is approx 21" x 2" x 18". Original oil on panel is approx 12" x 10". The original is in a good, vintage condition with some wear and ripping on the back paper. A must for any Margaret Keane or Jasmine Becket Griffith fan. Painting subjects that interested and intrigued her, Stevenson began painting merely as a creative outlet but soon attended the School for the Art Institute of Chicago for formal training. In 1950, she went to Paris, France and her work of that time includes Paris street scenes such as Rainy Day in Paris and Street in Montmartre.
