Description
Richard Ginori partial service in "Visconte Black" pattern, decorated in black with gilt center medallions and rims, the service comprising nine demitasse cups and twelve saucers, nice coffee cups and seventeen saucers, seventeen starter plates, seventeen dinner plates, and three associated cups, possibly in the "Contessa Black" pattern, signed underside "Richard Ginori Italy." Dinner plate: 10.25" diameter. Scattered surface scratches throughout; wear and loss to some medallions as well as gold trim; some chip losses to rims; set shows allover signs of use. Provenance: Property from the estate of Arnold Neustadter, inventor of the Rolodex.
