2nd-3rd century AD. A bronze fibula brooch of lunate form; the terminals meeting a stylised animal figure flanked by circular loops; the body of the crescent decorated with recessed cells retaining traces of blue enamelling with two lateral lobes; loop below; remains of pin lug and catchplate to the reverse; accompanied by a custom-made display stand.
